Barefoot Expanding Office to Accommodate Growth
September 6th, 2006
Having seen its staff grow some 30% in less than two years, and its client roster bolstered with the addition of several national brands, Barefoot is doubling its office space to accommodate this and anticipated growth.
Located in historic Longworth Hall on the edge of downtown Cincinnati, Barefoot now occupies just under 10,000 square feet on one floor. Preparations are now underway for the firm to also occupy space on the floor below, adding another 10,000 square feet.
“This office expansion is more than a physical manifestation of our growth, more importantly, it’s also a manifestation of the good work we’re doing and the confidence our clients continue to place in us,” said Doug Worple, the firm’s founder and executive creative director. “It’s very satisfying.”
The firm currently employs 50 people, up from about 30 less than two years ago. According to Worple, the increased staff is due in part to the firm’s decision to add interactive services in January of 2005, as well as the addition of several new national clients, including John Wiley & Sons Publishing, Novartis and the Miller Brewing Company.
Plans have been completed by the architectural firm of Michael Schuster & Associates, also of Cincinnati. The new space will be completed by year’s end.
