Swiffer, a fast-growing P&G brand, was launching lots of new products for those who want to toss traditional cleaning methods aside and trade up for an easier, better way. Swiffer needed a common look and feel that would make all of their advertising and promotions feel cohesive. Barefoot was asked to collaborate with other agencies that serve the brand to help develop the overall design theme. Barefoot was then charged with bringing the new look to life.
Barefoot assigned each Swiffer product a color and developed ads monochromatically so that each would immediately be recognized as a specific product under the brand umbrella. Furthermore, Barefoot decided to forgo the normal product shot approach and instead focused on the unique look of the popular implements. Shooting the products as if they were models laid the groundwork for what was to become an ownable Swiffer look.
