A different kind of art show
Visionaries & Voices
Visionaries & Voices, a studio that caters to artists with mental disabilities, needed to promote a first-ever "outsider art" fair in Cincinnati. The event was dubbed "Visionnati."
Barefoot created a series of intriguing posters intended to inspire people to ponder pre-conceived notions about art and artists. The grant also covered the creation of materials for the second annual Visionnati in 2007. This time, Barefoot used visually arresting metaphorical imagery to underscore just how unique outsider artists are.
The events were very successful and garnered several industry awards, allowing Barefoot to truly celebrate creativity for creativity's sake.
